About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Project Manager to join our team in Toronto. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with a solid background in managing complex software and infrastructure projects. As a key liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and business units, youll be responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals.

This is a hybrid position, requiring onsite presence once a week at our Mississauga Office.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects across software development, infrastructure, and systems integration.
  • Team Management: Oversee and coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, QA, DevOps, product, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment with product goals.
  • Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify risks, manage change control, and resolve issues to ensure project success.
  • Progress Tracking: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations; track project progress and provide regular status updates.
  • Methodology Adherence: Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Technical Oversight: Support stakeholder alignment and help translate technical requirements into actionable business plans.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, computer science or similar disciplines is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical or software development environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and project lifecycle models.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical background (development, infrastructure, or systems integration) is highly preferred.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications are an asset.
  • Familiarity with Azure Devopswould be nice to have.
