About the Role

Four Pillars Community Housing is building BC's most innovative housing model—scaling socially inclusive, small-scale modular, multiplex and multifamily housing with a focus on rapid delivery, and long-term community resilience.

We're seeking a seasoned, mission-aligned construction executive to lead the end-to-end implementation of ADU, SSMUH, and multifamily residences across Metro Vancouver and, eventually, across British Columbia. This is not your standard construction management role—it's an opportunity to pioneer a new approach to housing.

One day you'll be overseeing a modular crane drop in an urban backyard. The next, you might be coordinating general contractors, engaging with utility consultants, or resolving last-mile challenges. You'll operationalize a system of delivery that moves from homeowner onboarding and site feasibility to final occupancy—at scale.

What You'll Lead

  • End-to-End Project Delivery: From initial site assessment to final inspections for ADUs, multiplexes, and multifamily housing.
  • Logistics & Systems Integration: Coordinate with prefab and modular manufacturers, trucking, crane operators, and utility hookups for seamless on-site execution.
  • Permitting & Compliance:Streamline delivery across diverse municipalities using a replicable IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) methodology and compliance framework.
  • Homeowner & Site Readiness: Oversee site prep including access, grading, utilities, and soil conditions.
  • Team & Partner Coordination: Work cross-functionally with sales (Community Housing Ambassadors), manufacturers, and local engagement leads.
  • Trades & Workforce Network: Build a vetted network of trusted subcontractors, Indigenous trades, and social enterprise contractors committed to our values.
  • Risk Management: Anticipate issues, resolve site-level delays, and troubleshoot contractor or modular performance challenges.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Shape field manuals and onboarding materials; train community-based construction teams and junior staff.

What You Bring

  • 7+ Years' Experience in construction project management or site supervision—ideally with modular, panelized, ADU, or urban infill projects.
  • Permitting Savvy: Deep familiarity with Bill 44 implementation and permitting workflows across Metro Vancouver.
  • Modular Fluency: Knowledge of off-site fabrication, transportation logistics, crane scheduling, and on-site modular placement best practices.
  • Systems Thinking: You've built or refined checklists and scalable delivery protocols.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Equally comfortable leading from a job site or a coordination meeting. Experience using digital project and construction management tools.
  • Mission Alignment: Understands that building homes is about people, place, and not just buildings and blueprints.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Indigenous housing partners or non-profit housing providers.
  • Red Seal, PMP, Gold Seal, or related certifications.
  • Previous work on infill sites or backyard-based ADU projects with logistical complexity.

Why Join Us

  • Help lead the delivery of a scalable, dignified housing solution that reflects community values.
  • Work on the frontlines of innovation—integrating prefab speed, social purpose, and inclusive development.
  • Join a visionary founding team shaping a first-of-its-kind approach to infill and interim housing in BC.

Compensation & Equity Path

We believe in building a founding team that shares in the long-term value we create together.

  • Initial Engagement: 10–12 hours/week commitment for 6 months (sweat equity) with 5% founding equity (vesting applies).
  • Optional Equity Purchase: Secure an additional 15% equity stake for $200,000 during this period.
  • Path to Full-Time: At the 6-month mark, we'll co-develop a compensation package that may include salary, equity, and performance-linked incentives.

This structure ensures you can begin shaping our delivery model now—and be fully invested in our growth and impact.
