Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Investment Administrative Assistant to join a well-established financial services firm located in beautiful Fraser Valley, BC. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional seeking to advance their career in investment administration within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Position: Investment Administrative Assistant

Location: Fort Langley, BC

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70-90K

Work Arrangement: In-office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process investment transactions, including mutual funds, segregated funds, and GICs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Maintain and update client records, ensuring all documentation is complete and filed appropriately.
  • Coordinate with financial advisors to prepare for client meetings, including compiling necessary reports and documentation.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner, providing information and resolving issues as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of new account applications and other client documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role within the financial services industry, preferably in investments.
  • Strong understanding of investment products and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with investment management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to providing exceptional client service
