As a Public Cloud SRE focusing on SDN (Neutron), you will play a key role in driving the evolution and reliability of our OpenStack-based networking solutions.
• Ensure the performance and scalability of network infrastructure for our Clients.
• Deliver core projects while collaborating with the technical teams.
• Innovate and contribute to the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with security and scalability goals.
Your main responsibilities :
• Improve and refine both architecture and source code of existing Neutron deployment within our OpenStack infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security and optimization.
• Collaborate with product owners, security and infrastructure teams to deliver aligned and robust solutions.
• Continuously monitor emerging technologies and share advancements across the organization.
• Promote DevOps best practices and maintain high code quality standards. Identify automation and optimization opportunities to enhance stability and performance.

• Gain a clear understanding of the existing OpenStack environment and internal processes.

Required Skills:
• Advanced networking - knowledge about SDN technologies. and underlying protocols (TCP/IP, VXLAN, BGP etc).
• Expertise in Linux operating systems
• Python (or GO) programming knowledge
• OpenStack knowledge - understanding of architecture with a strong focus on SDN (if possible Neutron - L2/L3, ML2 plugins etc).
• Open vSwitch (OVS) knowledge
• HAproxy knowledge
• DevOps experience with CI/CD automation pipelines including GIT-based tools
• Building, managing and troubleshooting large and complex IT infrastructures.
