Job Description

The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of the office and effective case management by providing legal services under the supervision of the Lawyer.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Lawyer
  • Handle communication with clients on a daily basis
  • Locate and develop case-relevant information
  • Prepare appropriate documentation pertaining to files
  • Support with litigation preparation
  • Calendar management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-4 + years of experience is required
  • Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols
  • Corporate, real estate, or patent law experience is an asset
  • Litigation experience is an asset
  • Ability to problem solve and multi-task
  • Solid communication skills; written and verbal
