Construction Site Superintendent

Location: First project in North Vancouver, BC | Head Office: Delta, BC

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary Range: $101,499 – $151,499

As a Construction Site Superintendent, you will oversee the successful delivery of projects from site mobilization through to completion. The first assignment will be a mid-rise wood-frame multifamily residential project in North Vancouver, with future opportunities to lead a variety of residential and commercial builds up to $80M. You'll be joining a growing team known for fostering a high-trust, family-friendly work culture with a commitment to quality and safety.

Must Haves

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Site Superintendent or equivalent leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage mid-rise wood-frame multifamily construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, documents, and specifications
  • Ability to assist with material take-offs and pre-construction planning
  • Willingness to work on site in North Vancouver and other Lower Mainland locations as needed

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with commercial, light industrial or mixed-use construction projects.
  • Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Sitemax or similar)
  • Experience managing projects up to $80M in value
  • Willingness to mentor assistant superintendents or junior staff

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily site operations and coordinate all trades and subcontractors
  • Maintain and enforce construction quality and safety standards
  • Develop, update, and manage project schedules and weekly look-ahead plans
  • Review drawings, RFIs, and submittals for accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate proactively with the Project Manager, client, and consultants
  • Monitor budget items related to labour, materials, and equipment
  • Oversee site logistics, including site office setup and maintenance
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and regulatory approvals
  • Chair weekly trade meetings and maintain clear records
  • Address and resolve site issues or discrepancies as they arise
  • Promote a collaborative team environment and maintain professional relationships
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their development
  • Represent the company's values of integrity, accountability, and excellence on-site
