We are seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee procurement operations and inventory management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This leadership role is responsible for optimizing purchasing strategies, leading a team, and ensuring a streamlined supply chain process that supports the organization's operational goals. The successful candidate will bring a balance of strategic insight and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on process improvement, cost control, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Oversight
- Manage and guide a team of 3–5 procurement professionals.
- Provide daily supervision, support employee development, and address performance or personnel matters.
- Promote adherence to organizational values and ensure the effective rollout of policies and procedures.
- Procurement & Inventory Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain procurement procedures in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Create and monitor purchase orders, ensuring efficient inventory usage and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the sourcing of materials, including non-stock items, and manage vendor relationships.
- Ensure accuracy in invoice verification, system entries, and procurement trackers.
- Process Improvement & Strategy
- Continuously evaluate and enhance supply chain processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Lead procurement projects, monitor milestones, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Support strategic initiatives and departmental innovation efforts, aligning procurement practices with broader organizational goals.
- Logistics & Coordination
- Assist with freight and logistics coordination to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Mitigate supply chain disruptions by proactively managing potential delays, shortages, or overages.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and deliver monthly reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and cost analysis.
- Provide operational support and coverage for the Director of Procurement as needed.
- 4–5 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management.
- 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity with a demonstrated ability to lead teams.
- Post-secondary education in supply chain management, logistics, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and experience with procurement software systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Adaptability and flexibility to support changing business needs, including extended hours when required.
