About Us
Chrysalis Society is a compassionate and dedicated organization that supports women in the early stages of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. We are a trauma-responsive organization with a full continuum of care with one 1st -stage, two 2nd stage homes, and housing subsidies. Our programs are up to 18 months; women accessing our services are provided as much time and space as they need to heal from the impacts of active addiction. Chrysalis welcomes all self-identified women.
Job Summary
We are seeking a trauma-informed Client Care Coordinator fluent in nonviolent communication with managerial experience in addiction bed-based services. This role provides compassionate, non-judgmental support to residents, helping them strengthen life skills and relapse prevention skills, access community resources, and achieve their care plan goals. The coordinator ensures a safe and well-organized and maintained living environment, working closely with the Housing Coordinator to uphold health, safety, and budgetary standards. They prioritize group cohesion, set firm yet supportive boundaries, and ensure compliance with provincial regulations for assisted living support recovery services.
Qualifications
* Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field; or a Substance Misuse Certificate with equivalent relevant experience in the field
* Group Facilitation skills
* ALR Training Certificate - Implementing BC's Supportive Recovery Standards
* Leadership skills with the ability to initiate and implement
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & TEAMS
* Minimum of 5 years of recovery, if a history of problematic substance use exists
* Must have a valid class 5 driver's license and insured vehicle
* Mental Health First Aid Certificate an asset
* First Aid Level 1 & Naloxone training
