As we transition from a legacy Moodle-based LMS to a fully AI-native education platform, we are building the next generation of scalable, intelligent, and pedagogy-driven curriculum solution powered by generative AI. Your Mission
As Director of AI-Powered Learning and Curriculum Innovation, you will lead the transformation of pedagogical frameworks, curriculum standards, instructional best practice to align with AI-enhanced learning.
You are not just here to co-design a vision — you're here to build and scale it. You will connect pedagogical purpose with platform logic and drive transformation across curriculum structure, assessment strategies, teaching workflows, and implementation cross Global High School Network.
This is a builder's role — for a leader who can work across content, product, and schools to turn innovation into execution at scale.

Key Responsibilities
1. Execution of AI-Powered Pedagogical Models
· Evolve pedagogies under the trends of generative AI and apply the evolved pedagogies with focus on durable skills in our education solution and product
· Define the AI empowered school teaching and Learning scenario: teacher–AI collaboration model, instructional flow, data intelligence cross teaching & learning cycle, and learner experience that underpins our platform
· Translate future-ready competency development into modular course content, instructional strategies, adaptive assessment and feedback workflows
· Establish foundational teaching principles for AI-powered learning across subjects
2. Curriculum & Assessment Redesign
· Collaborate with the AI Curriculum Architect to design pedagogical frameworks for new and rebuilt courses
· Translate durable skills and future competencies into instructional practice, learning activities, and assessment formats
· Guide content teams to produce AI-native course structures that are prompt-ready, modular, and aligned with automated feedback systems
· Oversee the creation and integrity of rubrics, evaluation tasks, and feedback flows that enable AI scoring and differentiated instruction
· Serve as the final academic approver for quality assurance across 60+ rebuilt courses
3. Implementation & School-Level Adoption Strategy
· Lead the instructional transformation across Rosedale's global school network
· Develop professional learning models and AI powered teaching guide to support teacher upskilling and cultural shifts in classroom delivery
· Collaborate with pilot schools to gather implementation feedback, test new workflows, and continuously refine instructional guidance
· Lead Academic Excellence practice and continuous improvement cross global network
4. Cross-Functional Leadership & Product Collaboration
· Partner with product, technology, and curriculum teams to ensure platform features and content reflect sound pedagogical design
· Act as the academic counterpart to the AI Platform Product Manager and Curriculum Architect
· Guide Subject Content Leads to structure academic content, instructional tasks, rubrics, and feedback models according to defined teaching & learning strategy
5. Thought Leadership & Advocacy
· Serve as a public advocate for AI-powered education, contributing to brand positioning, global conference speaking, media presence, professional development content, and stakeholder communications
· Publish and share best practices, white paper, case studies, and frameworks that showcase how Rosedale's AI-enhanced approach enables future-ready schools and learners
Skill Requirements
We're looking for a strategic academic leader who brings a combination of vision, experience, and execution capability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Background in Academic Leadership
Proven leadership in curriculum design, pedagogical innovation, or academic strategy. Experience across both school environments and the education industry is strongly preferred.
- Curriculum Expertise
Deep knowledge of at least two international curriculum systems such as IB, OSSD, A-Level, or other globally recognized secondary programs.
- Educational Leadership Experience
A minimum of 8 years in senior education roles, with a successful track record in instructional transformation, content strategy, and large-scale assessment implementation.
- AI Readiness
Strong understanding of generative AI and its potential to transform teaching, assessment, and personalized learning—without needing to be a technical expert.
- Execution Mindset
Ability to translate high-level academic vision into scalable strategies and drive operational execution across diverse curriculum and delivery models.
- Collaborative Approach
Effective in cross-functional teams, working with internal content, product, and platform teams, as well as external advisors, to create unified, outcome-driven solutions.
- Executive Presence and Communication
A persuasive communicator who can represent the organization's academic vision with clarity and confidence to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Work location policy
Hybrid. The candidate should be able and willing to commute to Rosedale's HQ Office in Markham at least two days a week.
