Our client is seeking a Business Consultant to support the Retail Account Services portfolio within their Process & Change Management group. This team is responsible for driving internal and partner-led change initiatives through effective planning, analysis, and implementation. The role will initially focus on BAU (Business-as-Usual) requests and project support. This is an 3 month contract with a possibility of extension. This role is 1 day a week in the office in downtown Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to assess requirements and define project scope.
- Conduct research and data analysis on current business practices and industry standards.
- Partner with project managers to plan resources and timelines.
- Develop and present improvement strategies and assist in solution implementation.
- Provide ongoing support, including reporting, data quality checks, and system integrations.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 1–2+ years of experience in a business consulting or analyst role.
- Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas such as SUM, AVERAGE).
- Working knowledge of Visio.
- Familiarity with no-code automation tools.
- Exposure to regulatory frameworks in the financial industry.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Change Management.
- Background in financial institutions.
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification.
