Information Risk Governance and Control Analyst

Story Behind the Need:

• Business Group: The Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) Governance and Control team at Manulife supports the Line 1B mandate for Enterprise Technology Services. We provide governance and control functions for the ETS organization, including audit facilitation, control testing, SOX compliance, risk and control self-assessments, and initiative risk assessments.

Typical Day in Role:

• Identification of control gaps
• Documentation of control descriptions
• Control testing
• Process documentation

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in a governance and control role
• Knowledge of technology and cybersecurity risk management principles
• Ability to view problems analytically
• IT control testing and reporting knowledge
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of data analysis tools

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Strong communication skills (written and oral)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Information Sciences, or related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience
