Job Description
- Work in the Identity & Access Management (IAM) space with experience in 3rd party IAM solutions.
- Ensure successful execution of IAM Services' projects in collaboration with operations, information security, architecture, and project managers.
- Design and implement solutions and processes for authentication, authorization, and access enforcement.
- Provide technical solutions and assist application teams in utilizing IAM services.
- Serve as third-level support for IAM services when tier one and two support cannot resolve issues.
- Create and maintain system documentation for IAM Services, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting steps.
- Coordinate with various teams across the organization, requiring strong interpersonal skills.
- Communicate technical issues clearly in business-friendly language, requiring strong oral and written communication skills.
- Use scripting to automate tasks, configuration changes, data collection, and user provisioning.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience with multiple 3rd party IAM solutions in a fast-paced, complex global environment.
- Proven track record in engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining business-critical systems.
- Experience with:
- SSO, MFA, and Adaptive Risk-based Authentication
- Identity Federation
- Authentication and Authorization for REST, Microservices, and SOAP
- IAM integration with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Directory integration (Active Directory, LDAP, Virtual Directories)
- Integration with provisioning and attestation systems
- Familiarity with:
- X.509 certificates, trust stores, TLS troubleshooting and tracing
- Industry standards and protocols: SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, LDAP, Kerberos, WS-Fed
- Configuring and troubleshooting Authentication and Authorization configurations
- LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies and support best practices
- Ability to advise application developers on best practices for IAM technologies.
- Understanding of regulatory environments and implications for identity management, security, and audit compliance.
- Strong academic background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
