Title: Change Manager (CM)

Job Overview:
The Department of Health is seeking a highly skilled Change Manager to lead, plan, and implement change management strategies within large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging prescribers, clinicians, and senior stakeholders, and driving adoption of new systems and processes—particularly those involving healthcare technologies such as Clinical Information Systems (CIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and other digital tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute prescriber and clinician engagement strategies
- Partner with CMIOs, CNIOs, and program leaders to build change readiness
- Design and deliver communication and training initiatives in both French and English
- Conduct impact assessments for business process and technology changes
- Develop benefits evaluation strategies and change readiness surveys
- Facilitate change management workshops and stakeholder engagement events
- Analyze clinical feedback and adapt strategies to enhance adoption
- Manage tasks and risks using Jira and other tools within the Office 365 suite
- Supervise and guide junior change management team members
Ensure privacy training is completed and a non-disclosure agreement is signed
Mandatory Requirements:
Post-secondary education in a health-related field or equivalent experience
5+ years in a senior-level change management role impacting healthcare providers
Experience with healthcare technology changes (e.g., EHRs, CIS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years in leading enterprise-level change management strategies in complex environments
- 5+ years working with healthcare providers in change adoption contexts
- Strong facilitation and clinical stakeholder engagement experience
- Expert communication skills—both written and verbal
- 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office 365 and Zoom professionally
- 2+ years of experience with Atlassian Jira
- Formal training in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ACMP, or equivalent)
