About Our FounderThis role reports directly to Diraj Goel, founder and Managing Partner of GFV.
Diraj is a high-performance operator, strategist, and growth partner with over 30 years of experience scaling companies across startup, scale-up, and enterprise contexts. His track record includes:
- Helping scale WebCT to a $180M acquisition by Blackboard
- Leading post-acquisition integration for ActiveState into Sophos
- Scaling Vision Critical from $5M to $120M+ in revenue
- Growing Hootsuite to over $100M in ARR and building its international expansion and strategic partnerships functions
- Creating and leading the BC Tech HyperGrowth Accelerator, guiding some of Vancouver's most successful startups
- Coaching over 60 early-stage companies, with 6 successful exits
- Building the Growth by Design system that powers GFV's approach today
Diraj is driven by systems thinking, ADHD-level pattern recognition, and a deep belief in building real value over hype. You will work directly with him—learning how execution, capital, and decision-making actually scale companies.
About the RoleWe are hiring a Client Success & Growth Coordinator to serve as the connective tissue between our founder, our clients, our systems, and our execution playbooks. This is not a support role—it is an opportunity to become a second brain, workflow owner, and execution partner across dozens of founder relationships.
You will:
- Join client and investor calls
- Track what matters and make sure it happens
- Operationalize ideas into workflows
- Deploy AI tools to automate repetitive tasks
- Document and structure internal knowledge
- Own the processes that increase GFV's capacity to serve at scale

- Learns by doing. You have set up your own dashboards, taught yourself how to use a new tool just because it looked powerful, or watched multiple YouTube tutorials until something made sense.
- Experiments constantly. You may have built a small newsletter, tested workflows in Notion, created automation in Zapier, or run a mini referral engine—just to see how it worked. You are not afraid to break things in order to learn.
- Builds systems instinctively. You do not wait to be told how to track something. You create spreadsheets, docs, or trackers because it makes your work—and the team's—run cleaner.
- Is highly organized and reliable. You pride yourself on not needing reminders. You follow through. You close loops. You know what is outstanding and where things stand.
- Is curious about how things work. You are interested in vibe coding, acquisition channels, funnel conversion, investor psychology, and what makes a great go-to-market machine. You dive into rabbit holes—and come back with frameworks and questions.
- Communicates clearly. You write great meeting notes, structure your thoughts well, and are comfortable across WhatsApp, Slack, Google Suite, Loom, and async comms. You are brief, accurate, and helpful.
This role has a clear path to growth. Within your first 12 months, we expect you to own and master the following execution zones:
1. Client Delivery & Execution Support- Join all client and internal growth meetings with the Managing Partner
- Conduct structured research ahead of meetings: company, industry, funding history, and key players
- Write and distribute clear post-meeting notes within 24 hours, capturing action items and key insights
- Build and maintain founder-facing trackers, task lists, and check-in systems that show progress over time
- Support the deployment of GFV's Growth by Design playbooks with consistency and visibility
- Maintain a clean, current HubSpot CRM across all clients, partners, investors, and channels
- Help qualify leads, tag referral sources, and improve the attribution tracking across our portfolio
- Create dashboards showing deal progression, founder funnel health, partner activity, and investor touchpoints
- Own weekly sales funnel reporting: What moved? What stalled? Where are the gaps?
- Track and report on conversion metrics, open loops, and GTM velocity—highlighting risks proactively
- Implement AI-powered workflows using Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Zapier to automate repetitive tasks
- Help build GFV's internal “second brain” using Notion, Google Docs, and other system-of-record tools
- Write, update, and maintain SOPs for client onboarding, investor outreach, project documentation, and reporting
- Reduce Managing Partner's time per client by 30–50% by pre-empting needs, handling tasks, and pushing things forward without being asked
- Constantly identify new tools, workflows, or methods to eliminate drag and increase leverage
- Ensure every meeting, strategy, or conversation turns into action—nothing gets lost in the gaps
- Help support investor coordination: prep notes, follow-ups, data rooms, and scheduling
- Coordinate small, high-impact projects with clear timelines, stakeholders, and accountability
- Participate in quarterly planning and help organize retros, check-ins, and client reviews
- Capture intel, founder pain points, and internal insights to improve GFV's GTM and capital playbooks
- A direct apprenticeship with a founder/operator who has scaled companies to $100M+
- An accelerated education in startup growth, investor readiness, operational infrastructure, and strategic thinking
- Hands-on access to real clients, real problems, and real execution
- Exposure to 30+ founders and investors across multiple geographies and verticals
- A launchpad to evolve into Head of Growth Ops, or Venture Operator within 12–24 months
