As we expand Oscar into a global interactive DOOH network, we're building the infrastructure to support programmatic advertising, inventory automation, and yield optimization — with a twist: our network is driven by real-world human engagement, not passive screens.
The Role
We're hiring an Ad Tech Engineer to help architect and operate the monetization backbone of a fast-scaling, high-impact screen network.
You'll:
- Lead Ad partner integrations (SSPs, DSPs, etc.)
- Configure PMPs, PG deals, open exchange optimization
- Develop internal tooling for inventory health, proof-of-play, and revenue tracking
- Partner with product, deployment, and sales teams to align technical flows with business goals
Key Responsibilities
- Integrations: Onboard and manage integrations with top-tier ad partners. Handle device registration, API flows, and delivery audits.
- Deal Setup & Strategy: Configure and maintain PMP and PG deals; work closely with ad partners to monitor pacing, delivery, and deal health.
- Yield Optimization: Fine-tuning and developing ad delivery systems to optimize fill-rates.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Build systems to monitor ad performance.
- Automation: Create lightweight tools to streamline campaign delivery feedback loops, reporting data pulls, and partner syncing.
- Privacy & Compliance: Ensure cross-platform data is handled in accordance with evolving privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, etc).
You're Likely a Fit If You Have:
- 4–10 years experience in ad tech, ad ops, DOOH platforms, or programmatic infrastructure
- Solid experience with SSPs (e.g. Vistar, Broadsign, etc.) and DSP integrations
- Familiarity with OpenRTB, proof-of-play systems, and creative approval workflows
- Comfort working with REST APIs, JSON payloads, and building reporting automations
- Programming/scripting ability (e.g. Python, JS, or similar) to automate ops and partner integrations
- Understand CPM, fill rates, PG vs PMP, and how to tune a media yield stack
- Bonus: experience with network health dashboards, exchange performance monitoring, or traffic balancing
