Position Overview:

To support our continued growth, TMG Industrial is seeking for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator who will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain process from issuing purchase orders to coordinating overseas shipments and ensuring compliance down to maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier & Freight Partner Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with overseas factories and freight forwarders

Procurement & Purchase Order Management

  • Issue purchase orders based on inventory needs
  • Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders to ensure there are no discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and products information

Logistics & Shipment Coordination

  • Organize the shipment of goods from overseas factories
  • Negotiate terms with carriers or freight forwarders, and book vessels
  • Coordinate with trucking company for containers delivering to dock on time
  • Track and communicate shipment status with freight forwarders in real-time

Customs & Import Compliance

  • Prepare transport documents and coordinate with customs brokers for customs clearance
  • Ensure import compliance, on-time submission and up-to-day records of relevant records and report.
  • Resolve issues including discrepancies, delayed arrivals and customs release

Manage report gathering from various sources and ensure accuracy

Other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business administration, or Logistics
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ocean freight imports experience required
  • Experience working with suppliers in Asia or Europe, or in a supply chain environment is an asset
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Strong attention to details

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-5:00pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $48,000 - $55,000
