Overview:

Our client, a leading general contractor in the Vancouver market, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Superintendent to lead the delivery of large-scale high-rise residential construction projects across the Lower Mainland. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for all site operations, from mobilization through to occupancy, on some of the region's most exciting developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily site operations for high-rise residential projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
• Collaborate closely with project management, consultants, trades, and ownership teams to drive construction milestones and resolve site challenges.
• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to site teams, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and safety.
• Conduct regular site meetings, manage trades and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to project specifications and municipal requirements.
• Maintain accurate site documentation including daily logs, deficiency reports, and safety records.

Required Qualifications:

• 20+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a minimum of 10 years in a site leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-rise residential projects in the Vancouver market.
• Deep knowledge of concrete construction methods, safety regulations, municipal permitting, and local building codes.
• Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary site teams and delivering complex urban projects on time and within scope.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Gold Seal Certification or Red Seal Carpentry considered an asset.
