Our Client: Leading Global Investment Firm
Role Title: Director, Enterprise Risk Management
The Director will support the SVP in overseeing and implementing enterprise risk management and ESG programs across a global portfolio.
*Please note this role required being in-office, five days a week, downtown Toronto.
Key responsibilities:
- Risk: Preparing high-level risk presentations and managing programs related to anti-bribery, internal controls, compliance, and governance, as well as supporting new acquisition integrations and business planning processes.
- Sustainability: Managing ESG data and KPIs, producing investor reports, tracking greenhouse gas emissions and health & safety incidents, and staying informed on evolving ESG regulations to guide portfolio companies in assessing and addressing climate-related risks.
Requirements:
- CPA, CA designation
- Public accounting experience with a strong performance record
- At least 3 years of progressive experience, ideally in internal control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated leadership and team-oriented mindset
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Intellectual curiosity and a self-starter attitude
- Experience or interest in ESG is beneficial
