Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and service electrical and control systems for product development and delivery.
  • Develop specifications, designs, and detailed drawings for electrical layouts and systems.
  • Select and install process control components, tune PLC systems, and design subassemblies for manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product deployment, commissioning, and field support.
  • Design and install new electrical controls and instrumentation for plant equipment integration.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems, providing innovative solutions for breakdowns.
  • Support ongoing service and maintenance contracts for clients.
  • Be a proactive team player—foster a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes accountability and enthusiasm.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (P.Eng. designation required).
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in LV/MV electrical system design, installation, commissioning, and service, ideally in the Hydrogen, natural gas, or chemical industries.
  • Experience with industrial control systems, PLC programming (Siemens PLCs), and HMI/SCADA.
  • Knowledge of electrical certifications and codes for hazardous areas.
  • Expertise in electrical system schematics, layout design, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with EPLAN, CAD systems, and MS Office.
  • Ability to develop clear technical specifications, test procedures, and manuals.
