- Salary: Based on experience -up to $75,000 annually.

- Daily review of payroll inbox.
- Respond promptly and accurately to emails regarding payroll questions, employee information, timesheet queries, UKG access issues, inquiries from AP and Treasury teams, and provide relevant information to third parties.
- Perform data entry and verification for payroll changes, including weekly processing of timesheets.
- Prepare payroll by completing payroll processing worksheets for new hires, rehires, transfers, changes, terminations, garnishments, etc.
- Run test payroll in UKG, reconcile and balance all payroll records.
- Post payroll tasks for all payroll groups and generate and save all post-payroll reports.
- Handle payment requests and reporting, including wire transfer, contributions to CanadaLife, FRO and garnishment payments, accounts receivable remittance, and monthly reporting.
- Conduct year-end reconciliation for earnings, statutory deduction remittance to CRA; EHT, WSIB, CNESST to Provincial Government processed in the payroll calendar year for issuing T4s at year end.
- Provide training and support for UKG Pro & UKG Ready to new employees or as needed.
- Perform any other duties as required.
- A post-secondary diploma in Business or Accounting is required; courses in payroll operations are desirable.
- Requires at least 2 years of full cycle payroll experience, ideally with a premium provider.
- Knowledge of UKG/UltiPro payroll/HRIS system and intermediate to advanced Excel skills are needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple channels are essential.
- Attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, and strong time management skills are crucial.
- Candidate should be proactive, highly organized, and a self-starter.
- Interest in learning and growing within payroll is important.
- Canadian Payroll Association designation and proficiency in French are assets.
