YOUR DAY TO DAY:
We are seeking a Supply Planner who will be responsible for developing and executing effective supply planning strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels, on-time production, and full customer order fulfillment. This role works cross-functionally with operations, production, procurement, demand planning, and logistics to support an efficient and responsive supply chain.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Generating weekly supply planning templates for both frozen and slushy periods, identifying operational constraints and capacity risks.
  • Review and managing the supply plan, coordinating with the Master Scheduler and Operations team to address issues during the execution cycle.
  • Monitor and plan production requirements to meet customer demand, ensuring on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries.
  • Maintaining optimal stock levels through effective production planning and scheduling.
  • Analyzing long-term forecasts to identify potential capacity or material constraints; recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with the Demand Planner to ensure sufficient inventory coverage for projected demand.
  • Maintain and managing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system data and requirements.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating safety stock levels and ABC classifications for all manufactured products in alignment with corporate policies.
  • Develop and enhance reporting tools to support the management of seasonal and slow-moving inventory items.
  • Reviewing demand and available capacity, identify potential bottlenecks, and propose alternative capacity solutions to meet demand.
  • Working cross-functionally with sales, production, and procurement teams to gather insights and data for accurate supply planning.
  • Use historical data, market trends, and order history to generate forecasts that inform production and procurement strategies.
  • Determining optimal inventory levels considering demand forecasts, lead times, and production cycles.
  • Implementing planning strategies to reduce excess inventory, minimize stockouts, and improve inventory turnover.
  • Coordinating closely with production to align material availability with manufacturing schedules and avoid disruptions.
  • Partnering with the Purchasing team to adjust material orders in response to production plan changes.
  • Analyzing material usage trends, lead times, and consumption rates to drive informed planning decisions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve materials planning processes, streamline operations, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Appling best practices and tools to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory control.
  • Ensuring strong coordination among all relevant departments to align materials planning with broader business goals.
  • Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

  • Associates degree or equivalent. NAPM or APICS Certification preferred.
  • Experience with JDE or SAP required
  • 4-6 years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles.
  • Proficiency in using demand forecasting software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, trends, and demand patterns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on materials planning.
  • Must be able to meet CGP requirements
