Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Barber or Stylist to join our Victoria, BC location. You'll deliver exceptional grooming services, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to an energetic and supportive team atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

Barbering & Styling Services

• Provide professional haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming services tailored to each client.

• Consult with clients to understand their needs and offer expert recommendations on styles and grooming techniques.

• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge.

Client Experience & Engagement

• Deliver a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive experience for every client.

• Support promotional efforts including social media engagement, referral programs, and participation in events.

• Help manage client flow and appointments to ensure minimal wait times and a smooth shop experience.

Shop Maintenance & Operations

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Perform daily cleaning duties including sanitizing tools, sweeping floors, and restocking supplies.

• Support opening and closing duties and notify management of supply or equipment needs.

Team Collaboration & Culture

• Participate actively in team meetings, training, and shop events.

• Uphold company policies, grooming standards, and professional dress codes.

• Contribute to a respectful, cooperative, and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in barbering or hairstyling.

• Licensing: Valid Barber or Cosmetology License in British Columbia (or equivalent qualification). is a bonus but not required.

• Professionalism: Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of client care.

• Passion: A genuine dedication to the craft and a desire to grow with a forward-thinking team.
