The Mat Making department is searching for two positive, motivated individuals with leadership skills to become a Mat Maker Lead Hand. Through conscientious decision making and problem solving, these positions will primarily be responsible for their shifts safety and maximization of performance and efficiency in the mat production process. The candidates will require a strong understanding of our operating systems, trouble-shooting abilities, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to lead others effectively.

Expected main duties will include but not be limited to:

• 
  Trouble shooting and problem solving of operating systems
• 
  Effective decision making
• 
  Communicating and reporting effectively to supervisors, co-workers, and maintenance staff
• 
  Effective and efficient allocation of staff when required (crew management)
• 
  Ensure all crews are following safety and standard operational procedures
• 
  Lead pre-shift stretching program
• 
  Lead by example and exude Core Values of Respect For All, Own It, and Results Focused
