Regular Part-time Indigenous Peoples' Studies Instructor
50% - 100% Instructional Duties
Duties: This is a regular, part-time position responsible for teaching first- and second- year courses in Indigenous Peoples' studies. The courses will be in both face-to-face and online delivery and may include Introduction to Indigenous Peoples' Studies (INDG 101), Introduction to Health and Wellness in Indigenous Communities (INDG 105), Introduction to Indigenous Peoples' Worldviews (BC Focus) (INDG 120), Indigenous Peoples' Ways of Knowing (INDG 203), and Indigenous Peoples' Family Support Studies (INDG 240). Qualifications:
Required:
- Master's Degree in Indigenous Studies or a closely related discipline
- Five+ years working with Indigenous Peoples' communities
- Experience teaching in an adult learning environment and a variety of modalities
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Preferred:
- Credentials for and experience in online teaching
- Two+ years teaching at a post-secondary institution
- Indigenous Adult Instructor Diploma or Provincial Instructors Diploma Program

Salary: As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for regular, part -time employees is in a range from $38.70 to $62.02 per hour.
