Silk & Snow is a Toronto-based, digitally native business that offers thoughtfully designed bedding products with a frictionless customer experience. We are a small and highly collaborative team, seeking a highly organized and driven individual passionate about delivering best-in-class retail and digital experiences. In this role, the Business Systems Analyst will support and deliver on Silk & Snow's technology pipeline of projects. Reporting to the Director of Program Management, you will work in a multi-faceted role and be responsible for driving Silk & Snow's technology and systems. We are looking for someone who is analytical, collaborative, with strong communication and execution skills.
What you'll do:

• Technology Delivery and Problem Solving : Utilize strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration technical skills to understand business needs and deliver quality, scalable solutions.
• Lead projects from conception to execution: guide end-to-end technology implementation projects through all phases, including planning and scoping, research and analysis, functional design, testing, and rollout.
• Manage, design, and improve tools and processes: Oversee the development and enhancement of the business tech stack tools and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Testing & Support: Respond to application or infrastructure issues, perform diagnostics, and conduct hands-on testing including security configurations
• Research & Maintenance: Conduct research on tools, maintain awareness of industry or vendor-related issues, stay informed about all vendor application and component roadmaps, and provide internal application support

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of eCommerce or Retail experience with a proven track record of effective execution in projects of all sizes.
• Proficient knowledge of Point of Sale systems, inventory management, warehouse management and eCommerce
• Experience with, Shopify, Storis, Fulfil and other POS platforms is preferred
• Hands-on experience in designing omnichannel systems that utilize multiple platforms connected through APIs, ERPs, and strategic business planning solutions
• Ability to quickly understand complex, detailed processes & summarize them.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with confidence, clarity and focus. Able to convey concepts clearly and concisely.
• Able to simplify complex requirements and navigate ambiguity, then bring back the requirements to development and document all necessary changes required clearly
• A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent
