A QUICK LOOK AT THE ROLE:
The inside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining, expanding, and acquiring dealer (channel) accounts within the Western Canada region. This role involves increasing company revenue by generating sales from new and existing dealer accounts. The candidate will reach business targets through world class customer service and performs a diverse range of tasks, all pertaining to exceptional care, and customer service.

  • Reporting to: VP of sales & Marketing
  • Location: 12185 86th Avenue, Surrey BC, V3W 3H8
  • Hours: 7:30AM - 4:00PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Acquire, expand, and maintain all dealers
  • Work with existing dealers to raise awareness of company offerings and initiate new business ventures in order to increase market share and meet fiscal goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships within assigned accounts, improve client utilization and product/service adoption rates.
  • Collaborate with customer contacts, up to and including senior level executives, in order to define needs and provide solutions.
  • Provide direct support for all accounts with the intentions of growing their sales.
  • Generate revenue with existing clients by assessing client's needs, recommended or assist in a selection of our services, follow up on quotes, projects.
  • Follow up on requests from existing and new dealers.
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction.
  • Convert non-exclusive to exclusive dealers.

New Dealer Development and Prospecting:
  • Promote and maintain the organization's brand image and identity within the marketplace.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts and soliciting new accounts.
  • Assess market conditions and competitors' activities.
  • work with Business Development Manager
  • Review information regarding product innovations, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
  • Go the extra mile to engage dealers.

Support and Customer Service:
  • Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale
  • Suggest solutions when a product malfunction
  • Handle changes in policies or renewals
  • Maintain communication by troubleshooting, reporting and tracking problems
  • Coordinate customer training as necessary
  • Ensure dealers are given inexperience that centers around Merits 4 Pillars

Administration and Reporting:
  • Conduct and develop quarterly and annual account reviews in order to effectively manage account lifecycles.
  • Analyze, assess, and document client results to ensure customer needs are being met.
  • Promote awareness of new products and services to accounts.
  • Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Work towards exceeding predetermined quotas set by VP of Sales
  • Stay informed with product development and discontinuations and update dealers

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience in the kitchen business, or interior design or construction industry required.
  • Studies and/or exposure in the kitchen cabinet industry considered an asset.
  • Experience with customer facing roles.
  • Familiar with 2020 design or another Cabinetry Design software considered an asset.
  • Interested in learning and developing inside sales skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 software and able to learn design software and applications.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience in the cabinet industry is an asset.
