We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on environmental remediation and geotechnical construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all on-site field activities, including subcontractors, laborers, and equipment operators
- Manage execution of soil remediation, groundwater treatment, excavation, soil stabilization, and related geotechnical work
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and environmental consultants to ensure scope and schedule alignment
- Enforce strict safety standards and participate in daily job hazard analysis (JHA) and tailgate meetings
- Maintain project documentation including daily logs, progress reports, safety records, and change orders
- Schedule equipment and materials deliveries, track site inventory, and manage logistical needs
- Ensure quality control through adherence to project specifications and environmental compliance plans
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, inspectors, and regulatory agencies
- 5+ years of field supervisory experience in environmental remediation, geotechnical construction, or heavy civil projects
- Strong knowledge of remediation technologies (e.g., excavation, soil vapor extraction, chemical oxidation, groundwater treatment)
- Proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors in dynamic field environments
- Familiarity with environmental regulations (EPA, state/local agencies) and construction safety standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Experience working on federal, state, or municipal remediation projects
- Construction management certification or degree in Environmental Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
