Job Description

Skills required : Responsibilities -
1. Address customer requests for installation, configuration, test, maintenance of hardware and software components.
2. Respond to customer requests via phone and e-mail in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Maintain documentation of customer issues and their resolutions (KB)
4. Provide support to customers in system upgrades, installing workstations and other office tools.
5. Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and computer and telecommunications equipment.
6. Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and software
7. Create alternative methods of completing tasks, correcting user errors and system inconsistencies to improve the desk-top team function.
8. Participate in hardware and software reviews and recommend better solutions.
9. Maintain inventory of installed software and hardware wherever applied
10. Work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule.
11. Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
12. Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers and administrative systems.
13. Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instruc-tions.
14. Provide job trainings to new hires and less experienced staffs when needed.
15. Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams for resolutions.
16. Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems; de-termine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature.
17. Understand company standards and delivery method of respective tools
18. Knowledge in the below tools will considered as an advantagea: ServiceNow
Please note that the below points are mandatory
1) Strict adherence to site HSSE policy and 9 Life Saving rules.
2) Drug and Alcohol testing may be required
3) Valid driver's license may be required
4) Clean shaved
5) Be Fit and able to carry 30 lbs if required.
