What are the Responsibilities of the Lead AV Technician?
- Lead AV system installations and system service: cabling, devices, digital signage, conferencing, and more
- Install and maintain cabling infrastructure and audio/visual devices including pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labeling per specifications and drawings.
- Program and commission systems using Crestron, Extron, and Biamp tools
- Build racks, ensure clean cable management
- Interpret blueprints and system diagrams
- Mentor and train junior technicians
- Ensure projects stay on track, on time, and exceed client expectations
- Maintain strong client relationships and represent our client with professionalism in the field
What are the Requirements of the Lead AV Technician?
- 5+ years of experience of AV exposure (installations, system design, etc), at least 1 year of senior level or Lead experience
- Proven experience with commercial AV systems
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Bonus: CTS, Extron, Biamp, or Crestron certifications
