About Our Client:
Our client is a respected law firm in downtown Vancouver.

The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a Billing Specialist with a minimum of 3 years experience in a legal setting to join their accounting team. This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the firms billing process and supporting internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute client invoices
• Assist with time entry and pre-bill review
• Apply trust funds and manage account balances
• Identify tax-related issues
• Maintain and manage the complete billing cycle
• Communicate with clients regarding billing matters
• Support Accounts Receivable functions as needed
• Participate in ad hoc projects within the accounting department

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of billing experience in a legal or professional services setting
• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Experience with accounting and billing software (experience with Acumin is an asset)
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
• Excellent client service and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
