Who are we looking for, you ask?

The Account Manager is responsible for the overall management of the relationships with their assigned clients, ensuring optimal value is delivered daily. The role is fundamentally structured on maximizing the lifetime value of a client, ensuring that they become raving promoters of the Idealogical Group to their network.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with clients
    • Own the client relationship, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues that arise
    • Conduct regular client meetings to review service delivery and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Sales Support:
    • Manage the sales process from beginning to end, ensuring a seamless experience for the client
    • Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and deepen engagement within managed accounts, optimizing revenue by client to meet target quotas
    • Collaborate with other members of the sales team to develop and execute account strategies
    • Manage the preparation of proposals and presentations for new business opportunities
  • Coordination with Service Delivery:
    • Work closely with project management, service delivery, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery
    • Track and manage client issues, including Intervening when issues arise, ensuring timely resolution and communication
  • Client Business Planning:
    • Identify clients' business plans and assist with drafting a plan to align with their goals
    • Assess the temperature of the client relationship and set positive expectations
    • Oversee the onboarding of new clients and provide retraining as necessary
  • Technical Support Strategy:
    • Develop and execute an overarching technical support strategy for assigned clients
    • Monitor and work with service management on service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Share best practices with the team to enhance the quality and efficiency of client service
  • Client Satisfaction:
    • Drive client satisfaction by proactively managing, troubleshooting, and delivering technical support as needed to ensure optimal utilization of our solutions
    • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions
    • Provide on-going accurate and timely reporting to clients and internal teams

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field
  • Proven experience in account management, preferably in a software or managed services provider environment
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software solutions and cybersecurity services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in CRM/ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite
