What are we looking for?
As an Account Manager focused on the Produce/ Refrigerated Division, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding relationships with an established customer base shipping produce and other refrigerated products across Canada and the U.S.
This is not a hunting role. You'll work with existing customers, ensuring they are satisfied, supported, and growing. You'll act as their trusted logistics partner, helping identify efficiencies, resolve concerns, and bring forward tailored solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
Your Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers across Canada and the U.S.
- Proactively manage customer accounts by understanding their unique logistics needs and providing consistent, value-added support.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Solutions, and Customer Service teams to ensure timely execution and delivery excellence.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts by understanding seasonal demand, new shipping lanes, or product expansion.
- Analyze account performance data and customer trends to anticipate future needs and build long-term strategies.
- Maintain accurate account records and communication logs using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Monitor service levels and resolve service-related issues quickly and professionally.
- Act as an ambassador of the brand, building loyalty and promoting a customer-first mindset internally and externally.
- A strong background in account management or customer success, ideally in transportation, logistics, or produce/perishable goods.
- A service-first mindset and a passion for solving problems and delivering value.
- Excellent communication skills — you're an active listener, clear communicator, and able to manage expectations with empathy and authority.
- A collaborative spirit: you thrive in a team that's aligned around customer success.
- Comfort with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and a willingness to use data to drive results.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Experience working with temperature-controlled or produce-related logistics is a strong asset.
