Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst is as follows:

Cost Accounting & Analysis:

  • Maintain and analyze standard costs for raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods in SAP.
  • Conduct variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) to identify cost drivers and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost allocations and inventory valuations.

Financial Planning & Reporting:

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts for manufacturing operations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and variances.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Strategic Business Support:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate cost implications of new products, processes, and capital investments.
  • Provide financial insights to support pricing strategies and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

Systems & Process Improvement:

  • Leverage SAP and other financial systems to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems and tools for better efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to financial reporting and cost accounting.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation is required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in financial analysis with a strong emphasis on cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of analyzing manufacturing costs and driving financial improvements.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP FI/CO modules and advanced Excel functionalities (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
