*Job Description:*

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Detox Nurse to join our team on an on-call basis in the beautiful Muskoka region. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience in providing care for patients undergoing detoxification.

*Responsibilities:*
- Provide nursing care and support for patients undergoing detox
- Monitor patient health and administer medications as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Respond promptly to patient calls and provide emergency care if needed
- Educate patients and their families about the detox process and recovery steps

*Qualifications:*
- Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license in Ontario
- Proven experience in detox or addiction medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in emergency situations
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS certification preferred
