We're looking for a Growth Lead who will drive the overall growth strategy and execution of our lead generation efforts to drive companies to climate action. As part of our commercial team you will be working hand-in-hand with our sales team to identify and engage businesses to take the next step towards their climate goals.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of growth strategies across all stages of the buyer journey with a focus on new business
- Establish, measure and contribute key marketing and growth metrics (MQLs, Deals Qualified, Traffic/Reach, etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement through testing and iterating on growth strategies, scaling successful experiments based on KPIs
- Share ownership over the commercial team marketing budget
- Have the first conversation with potential customers to qualify and convert into sales leads
- Drive the lead generation pipeline with your time split between direct outbound efforts (email campaigns, cold calls, socials, etc.) and marketing initiatives (digital ads, webinars, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with the team to deepen relationships within the climate community
- Help democratize access to climate knowledge and drive leads through in-person events, virtual webinars, digital media, and digestible educational resources (e.g. helping them decrypt standards like the GHG protocol and translate it into plain language)
- Support the team to identify strategic opportunities to reach more businesses looking to understand, measure, and reduce their climate impact
- Work with the product team to use the feedback and insights from your community interactions to create tangible improvements to the platform and generate business value
- Do startup stuff! Get involved in different initiatives across the business when the need arises
Knowledge Requirements:
- Understanding of concepts related to the climate crisis, causes, and solutions
- Understanding of marketing principles and the buyer's journey and ability to apply them to campaigns
- Familiarity with customer lifecycle strategies and segmentation to drive more personalized, effective marketing efforts
- Knowledge of Hubspot or other CRM software, lead generation software & marketing tech solutions
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability and climate news through previous jobs or volunteer experience etc
- Strong communication skills (e.g. use clear, simple terms to explain complex topics)
- Entrepreneurial: Started or responsible for growing a company, organization, club, team, or project
- Experience measuring and tracking campaigns in Hubspot, Excel or other analytics solutions
- Bonus: High-Level understanding of GHG Protocol Guidance & ISO 14064 Standards
- Bonus: High-Level understanding of reporting frameworks (CDP, TCFD, B Corp, SBTi, etc.)
- Bonus: Can communicate effectively in French
- Bonus: Expertise with performance marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and SEO
