Low Voltage Project Manager
Spark Power, a trusted partner in power in North America, is looking for a Low Voltage Project Manager to lead our crews in Belleville, ON. The Project Manager acts as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, acts to maintain customer relationships, lead or manages flow of projects, ensures budgets, timelines are met, and personnel resources are available. They are also responsible for sourcing out new opportunities within a customer's facility, quoting jobs, and following up with customers. Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot effectively will be key to success in this role.
Here's what you will do as a Low Voltage Project Manager:
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with internal team members and customers.
- Manage projects to ensure they adhere to budget, timeline, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Make strategic scheduling decisions to optimize resource allocation.
- Actively monitor customer accounts and maintain regular communication to secure future business.
- Create, submit, and follow-up on client invoices, handling changes in billing due to project scope changes.
- Utilize best practices to increase work quality and employ systematic approaches to troubleshoot and repair.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Read and comprehend control circuits, control panels, and drawings; accurately estimate time and materials required for jobs; provide timely quotes to customers.
- Oversee technicians' work, including preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, warranty servicing, and commissioning.
- Complete and/or review job reports to ensure they meet customer expectations.
- Manage work orders, approve invoices, and manage customer expectations while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Supervise multiple technicians, including dispatching, disciplinary action, performance reviews, and time approvals.
- Work alongside Service Quality Assurance (SQA) and Safety teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Manage any project conflicts that may arise, seeking resolution while maintaining project momentum.
- Facilitate change management processes, adapting project strategies to evolving circumstances and ensuring resilience throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain, track, and analyze project schedules, progress measurements, cost estimates, variances, change orders, expenditures, and risk assessments.
- Proactively monitor project parameters to identify bottlenecks, deviations, and optimization opportunities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Provide accurate project forecasting, estimating future costs and resource requirements to inform strategic planning initiatives.

Do you have the Spark? Here's what we're looking for:
- A valid 309A License.
- Relevant experience is an asset.
- Experience with job quotes and project management is an asset.
- Must have a strong background in customer engagement.
- Knowledge of specific occupational Code and legislation
- A valid G class driver license with a clean driving record
- Must be highly motivated with strong work ethic & excellent written & verbal communication
- Computer literate, attention to details
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
