About the Role:
Our client, a well-established real estate developer with a growing commercial portfolio, is seeking a Property Administrator to join their team in Etobicoke. This position plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of their commercial properties. The ideal candidate will bring experience in commercial property management, strong organizational skills, and a friendly, service-oriented approach to tenant relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing a portfolio of commercial properties
- Act as the first point of contact for tenant inquiries and concerns, ensuring prompt and professional communication
- Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor services, and site access
- Track lease documentation, rent rolls, and tenant insurance compliance
- Prepare tenant notices, correspondence, and reports as required
- Support budgeting, invoice processing, and general administrative tasks
- Maintain organized property files and databases
- Assist with lease administration and renewals where applicable
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a property administration or property management support role, preferably in commercial real estate
- Strong understanding of commercial lease terms and tenant relations
- Friendly, professional, and proactive communication style
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
