We are in search of...

An experienced Technical Assembler with skills in soldering and fiber optic cable splicing. This isFull-time Temporary role for three (3) months or longer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general assembly of components to final product, soldering and some splicing and installing of fiber optic cables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Harnessing, electromechanical and cable assembly
• Soldering on various printed circuit boards
• Masking and conformal coating of PCBs
• Able to use assembly equipment including, but not limited to, soldering irons, crimpers, hand tools, meters and some test equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and specifications
• Hands on experience in single fusion splicing and mechanical splicing techniques
• Maintain accurate records of splicing and testing results
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
• Collaborate with production and project teams to meet deadlines

What you bring...

• Proven experience as an electronics assembler and/or a fiber optic cable splicer
• Able to use a soldering iron, crimpers, hand tools, meters and some test equipment
• Knowledge of testing equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to use a computer
• Good communication skills, both reading and writing in English
