Guru Studio is crewing up for an exciting new CG shorts series and we're looking for an experienced
3D Animation Leadto help us bring this new world to life.
Youll be joining a vibrant entertainment company known for creating, developing and producing award-winning, hit shows such as True and the Rainbow Kingdom for Netflix, the smash-hit PAW Patrol, Mattels Ever After High; and our own Emmy Award nominated series Justin Time. Our studio also contributed visual development on the Academy Award nominated animated feature The Breadwinner.

Responsibilities:

• Animate characters and props at high quality within the guidelines of the show.
• Assigned work would revolve around important scenes involving new characters or props.
• Provide the necessary cycles, poses and setups to maximize efficiency for each episode.
• Keep the libraries stocked with useful material and inform the team of what is available.
• Inspect and test new assets to ensure they can perform as intended according to the leica.
• Work with the Rigging Lead to troubleshoot technical issues with the assets.
• Provide assistance to junior animators, helping with their blocking, animation or revisions.
• Be a positive leader through performance level and taking initiative to elevate art and work life.

Additional Requirements:

• Be active and vocal at team meetings to help boost morale and encourage engagement.
• Bestow any helpful animation knowledge, practices or philosophies to the team.
• Be proactive, checking in regularly with team members to provide support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of animating at a consistently high level.
  
• Strong creative problem solving skills.
  
• Leadership ability and strong communication skills within a team environment.
• High level of creativity, with the ability to perform to standard while meeting deadlines
