Mikisew Cree First Nation is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Post-Secondary and High School students to fill 15 summer employment openings in the following roles, with positions available in Edmonton, Fort McMurray, and Fort Chipewyan:

• Office Reception Clerk
• Activities Leader Seniors
• Casual Worker Public Works
• Carpenter Helper
• Material Handler
• Finance Clerk
• Environmental Technician
• Learning and Study Skills Specialist
• Campground Worker

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing administrative support such as general office duties, filing, and reception
• Working with computers and various software programs
• Assisting the Elders Coordinator with activities and handyman tasks
• Supporting the Tech Services department on various projects
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a registered full-time student for the 20242025 academic year and returning to school in fall 2025
• Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual
• Must adhere to the MCFN Code of Ethics and Code of Confidentiality at all times
• Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) prior to employment
