The Opportunity

We are recruiting a hard working, driven, and independently-minded full-time Territory Manager to grow with us at EDPRO. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing EDPROs customer offering in the bulk propane sector to existing and new customers in the Southwestern Ontario territory. This includes complete responsibility for the entire customer acquisition process, as well as leadership in existing customer service and retention for residential, agricultural, commercial, and industrial bulk customers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Directly identify potential bulk sector customers within the territory, establish contact with decision makers for these potential customers and develop persuasive supply proposals
  • Manage the customer relationship with bulk sector customers to maximize both retention and growth of the customer base within the territory
  • Maintain information in the Company approved Customer Relationship Management database
  • Establish and nurture relationships with third party individuals, businesses and organizations that can positively impact EDPRO reputation and presence within the territory
  • Monitor and lead activities to ensure Company commitments to compliance, integrity and effectiveness are consistently maintained
  • Participate in accounts receivable functions to ensure payment and minimize debt risk
  • Assist in addressing urgent afterhours issues

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a sales and/or propane-industry related role
  • Highly committed to customer service excellence
  • Understanding of customer relationship management and general sales processes
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with little direction needed to consistently achieve results
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently or as part of a team
