The Mason Group is excited to be working with one of our favourite clients, located in the heart of downtown, to help them find an exceptional Contract Payroll Administrator with full-cycle Payroll experience. They are a fun, smart and successful group of people who make you want to go to work! You must have excellent communications skills and an interest & ability to build relationships to work with this team.

Reporting to the Payroll & Benefits Manager, you are responsible for administering Canadian and U.S. Payroll from end-to-end in a non-union environment for certain divisions of the company. This includes accurately processing salaries, resolving payroll discrepancies, benefits administration and ensuring all records are up to date.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong payroll experience, great time management & prioritization skills, and be a keen problem solver. Oh, and you need to be discrete and tactful…you are dealing with confidential information after all!

  • At least 3-5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience
  • PCP Certification is an asset
  • Knowledge & experience with Canadian & US employment standards, and payroll & related taxation regulations
  • Proven tact and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills
  • Solid technical skills, including Excel, payroll software (Avanti & ADP WFN)
  • Attention to detail and sound problem solving skills
