On behalf of our client a large downtown law firm, we are recruiting an Associate to join the corporate commercial department.

Firm has an excellent reputation of client focused service, good culture and will have a file load for you to take on. Those of you who want to develop your own client base as well with have a higher bonus structure. Position is in office with the option or remote on occasion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements

• Provide legal advice on business law matters

• Support clients with incorporations, reorganizations, and transactions

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Key Competencies:

• Minimum 4 years of corporate commercial law experience

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage files independently

• Excellent communication and client service skills

• Motivated to grow a practice and contribute to firm goals

At this time we will only consider those in good standing with Alberta Law Society and with a minimum of four years' experience as an Associate.
