Vendor Compliance Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Vendor Compliance Analyst responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining vendors' compliance for programs they participate in. This role involves working closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to ensure adherence to program policies, industry standards, and legal requirements. The Analyst will play a key role in identifying compliance gaps, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring that vendor relationships are aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
Working closely with the Manager, Vendor Management and Compliance, your responsibilities will include:
Vendor Compliance Oversight
  • Uphold vendor obligations as it relates to their ongoing compliance as set forth in OntarioMD's (OMD) EMR Vendor Certification Agreement or other participating provincial digital health programs.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular compliance and conformance reviews of vendor and their product(s) as required by OMD's agreements.
  • Document and escalate critical vendor compliance issues.
  • Track and follow-up with vendors on their remediation plans to correct misalignment on compliance obligations/expectations.
Vendor Management and Engagement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to establish effective communication and ongoing engagement.
  • Support vendor manager in escalations from system, provincial, and internal stakeholders related to a vendor participating in a jurisdictional digital health program.
  • Ensure OMD's CRM is up to date with data collected through the EMR Certification Program activities (e.g., vendor/product profiles, certification status, conformance results, etc.).
Collaboration and Communication
  • Work with internal (Conformance, Architecture, Deployment, etc.) and external (e.g., Ontario Health) teams to ensure vendor compliance processes align with business needs.
  • Conduct or support the onboarding for the vendor participating in the respective jurisdictional digital health program.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements that are important to us:
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree, preferably in Business Administration, or Health Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience building and maintaining working relationships with vendors (vendor management), stakeholders, and partners in the digital health landscape.
  • Industry knowledge and experience with point of service digital health standards, including OMD Specifications, Ontario Health Virtual Visits Standards, Health Report Manager, etc., is an asset.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., PIPEDA, ISO, PHIPA, etc.) is an asset.
  • Vendor management/engagement experience with digital health vendors is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to track, monitor, and evaluate vendor compliance data consistently.
