The Gracie Barra Northwest Calgary classes are aligned with the Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program structure developed by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. to meet the specific learning needs of people from different ages, genders and levels.
Job description
As a Jiu-Jitsu Instructor at Grace Barra Northwest Calgary, your main duties and responsibilities are:
- Teach and motivate students.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of each student and develop their potential skills and abilities.
- Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions.
- Advise on all matters related to the practice of Jiu-Jitsu, including its techniques.
- Develop all activities without interfering with any orientation of the GB System.
- Plan competitive events.
- Motivate and prepare students for competitive events or games.
- Effectively participate in all activities (meetings, trainings, etc.) of the Training Center.
- Provide practical and emotional support to the team during classes and competition events.
Must Haves
- Brown or Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
- CPR/First Aid
- Good references
- Able to teach kids and adults
- Gracie Barra Instructor Certification (we will provide)

Pay: $20.00-$29.00 per hour
