The Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) will support our dental team by ensuring efficient chairside assistance, maintaining sterilization protocols, and providing a seamless patient experience. The ideal candidate is proficient in a variety of dental procedures, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Chairside Assistance:
- Assist dentists during procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Provide patient comfort and care throughout procedures.
Infection Control & Sterilization:
- Follow strict sterilization and disinfection protocols.
- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with BCCOHP
Radiography & Imaging:
- Take and process BW and PA X-rays, including panoramic (PANO) images.
- Maintain radiographic equipment and adhere to safety standards.
Patient Care & Administrative Support:
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
- Assist with scheduling, record-keeping, and inventory management as needed.
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all patients.
Qualifications & Skills:
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential required.
1 year+ experience in general dentistry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
