Partner Staffing on behalf of our Client. we are seeking a Civil Municipal Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Utilities Engineer to join our Calgary-based team. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled and solutions-oriented professional with experience in the design and construction of underground municipal infrastructure. You will work on a variety of civil engineering projects, from concept through detailed design to construction support and dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering services for complex municipal projects focused on water, sanitary, and stormwater infrastructure, with a specialization in underground utility installations. Collaborating with a diverse range of clients, including municipalities, provincial governments, telecommunications providers, and private utility owners.

• Plan, design, and coordinate water distribution, sanitary sewer, and stormwater management systems for municipal and utility clients.
  
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
  
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis for water and sewer networks.
  
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and assist with permitting processes.
  
• Perform field investigations and site inspections during construction.
  
• Lead or support preparation of tender packages and construction documents.
  
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
  
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical quality control processes.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's considered an asset).
  
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Alberta or eligibility to obtain it.
  
• 3+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater municipal engineering.
  
• Strong understanding of underground utility systems, trenchless technologies, and applicable municipal standards.
  
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, InfoWater/InfoWorks, or similar.
  
• Familiarity with municipal and provincial standards (City of Calgary, Alberta Transportation, etc.).
  
• Excellent communication, report writing, and project coordination skills.
