Your responsibilities will include unloading and unpacking shipments of custom cabinetry and hardware, inspecting for damages or shortages, entering data into our system, and supporting shop operations as part of an offset second shift. Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday Shift 10:00am-6:30pm
  • Hourly pay with overtime opportunities
  • Paid vacation, holidays and sick days
  • Benefits after 3 months: Dental, health spending account and extended health care
  • Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Shop Technician role would likely possess the following qualifications:

  • Attention to Detail: Essential for quality control
  • Basic Math Skills: Comfort with measurements, calculations, and quantities to ensure accuracy in receiving and quality control.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks efficiently, maintain an orderly workspace, and track shipments or inventory effectively.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move shipments, including custom cabinetry and hardware.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in entering data navigating software tools.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for identifying and addressing issues like damaged product or quality issues.
  • Willingness to Learn: Enthusiasm for on-the-job training and a positive attitude toward developing new skills.
  • Experience in Shipping/Receiving: Familiarity with unloading, inspecting, and recording shipments is a strong advantage.
  • Basic Woodworking Skills: Operation of basic tools is considered an asset.
  • Forklift Certification: This certification is considered an asset.
