The studio is expanding its team to meet increased project demand and to continue delivering outstanding design solutions across residential and commercial interiors.Responsibilities:
Lead projects from preliminary design through to full documentation, implementation, and completion.
Collaborate closely with the internal team to develop creative and unique design solutions.
Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing clear, confident design input.
Conduct space planning that reflects both functional requirements and creative intent.
Prepare documentation for FF&E selection, specification, and procurement, including detailed layouts and schedules.
Manage contract documents (preliminary, tender, and construction packages).
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Must haves:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent.
3–6 years of professional experience in the interior design field.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Familiarity with SketchUp and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
Excellent understanding of shop drawings, product cut sheets, and installation manuals.
Solid knowledge of building codes, technical standards, and construction industry practices.
Detail-oriented with excellent organization and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently or within a team.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and reliably commute to the office in Toronto.
Experience with FF&E selection and procurement processes.
A creative portfolio showcasing both residential and commercial design work.
Familiarity with interdisciplinary design coordination.
