Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in both acute care settings and pediatrics. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve their physical function and quality of life. Your expertise in medical terminology and hospital environments will be essential in providing comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Educate residents and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid physiotherapy license to practice in Nova Scotia.
• Experience in hospital settings is preferred, particularly in acute care and pediatrics.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of physiotherapy.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.67-$40.21 per hour

Hours: 40 per week
