We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve their physical function and quality of life. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
- Educate residents and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license to practice in Nova Scotia.
- Experience in hospital settings is preferred, particularly in acute care and pediatrics.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: $30.67-$40.21 per hour
